Congratulations to our HOSA State winners for middle school!! Camino Real Middle School, Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy, and Vista Middle School
HOSA, which stands for Health Occupations Students of America, students from middle schools and high schools showcased their skills and knowledge in various healthcare-related fields last month at the State Leadership Conference and competition. The competitions included events such as medical knowledge tests, hands-on clinical skill demonstrations, research presentations, and public health initiatives. Participants competed individually and as part of a team, aiming to demonstrate their proficiency in areas such as first aid, nursing, medical terminology, biomedical sciences, and more. Winners at the state level will now advance to national competitions, where they will have the opportunity to further showcase their talents and compete against students from across the country.
