On April 3, Las Cruces Public Schools proudly rolled out the red carpet for its 2026 Campus Employees of the Year celebration. The inspiring evening was dedicated to honoring the outstanding educators, principals, and support staff whose dedication, passion, and excellence shape the future of education across the district.
Surrounded by the cheers of family, friends, and colleagues, honorees from every LCPS campus were celebrated for their exceptional contributions to student success and school communities. Each honoree received flowers and a special award of recognition as they walked the red carpet, symbolizing their invaluable impact and unwavering commitment to education.
At the heart of every school are its teachers—guiding, mentoring, and shaping the minds of students from the very first day of class. This year, LCPS proudly honors three outstanding educators who exemplify the passion and commitment found in classroom throughout the district.

At the heart of every great school are the people who make learning possible—from the classroom to the cafeteria, and from the front office to the maintenance yard. These finalists were selected for their exemplary dedication, innovation, and impact on the students and communities they serve.
The winners in each category will be announced on Thursday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m. during a special celebration at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum (4100 Dripping Springs Road). The district invites families, staff, and community members to join in honoring these extraordinary individuals who go above and beyond every day to make a lasting difference.
