Camino Real Rocket League and Camino Real League of Legend teams both played against Vista Middle School’s Rocket League and League of Legends teams for the Las Cruces Middle School Esports Championships on the main stage of Organ Mountain High School's Performing Arts Center (PAC) at the LCPS Esports Showcase.

Rocket League match was best 2 out of 3. Camino Real completely shut out Vista in the first game with a score of 5-0. The second game was 0-0 until Vista made a goal in the last few seconds ending the second game at 0-1. The third game was intense going into overtime  of 2 ½ minutes with a final of 3-2 with Camino Real coming out as the victors. Great job to our amazing Rocket League players; Captain Elijah Sanchez (CRMS SANCH3Z), Jordan Ruiz (heckothegecko), Ryan Coats (PurpleTurtle17), and Matthew Soffera (Rain-_-23) Camino Real Middle School Rocket League Team won the Championship title.

Camino Real League of Legends Team also earned the title of Middle School League of Legends Champions.  Top Laner, Liam Macmanus (dashredder47) had 7 kills, 0 deaths, and 0 assists with a phenomenal Creep Score (CS) of 122. Jungler, and team Captain Jaxon Kavanaugh (MasterArtist22) had 3 kills, 2 deaths and 1 assist with a CS of 69. Midlaner, Aaron Ramirez (ItsPerico) ended with 7 kills, 0 deaths, and 1 assist and a CS of 109. Chance Molina (Andredinoman), CRMS’s Attack/Damage/Carry (ADC) had 4 kills, 3 deaths and 2 assists with an impressive CS of 117. The bottom laner (Bot), William Curnutt (Stormblessed2010) had 2 kills, 3 deaths, and 4 assists and a CS of 20. Special shout out to CRMS League of Legends alternate and newcomer Top Laner, Meyer Rupe (MakoKing12), job well done with stats of 0 kills, 10 deaths and 0 assists with an CS of 73.
